The “Spatial Econometrics Advanced Institute” is organized yearly by the Spatial Econometrics Association. Objectives: the school aims at providing a solid background to Master, PhD students and young researchers interested in the analysis of spatial data with particular reference to economic applications (detailed program): * seminars on spatial economics, spatial statistics, spatial econometrics and spatial panel data 2010 Edition: - Schedule of the classes (download) - Participants (download) Teaching excellence: our faculty are worldwide famous for the quality of their scientific research on spatial econometrics and for having contributed to the birth and the development of this scientific field (more on the teaching staff). A global experience: 77% of students in the past edition came from outside Italy and our faculty have well known international teaching and research experience. Attendants to the SEAI have the possibility to become part of an emerging international community of cutting edge scientific research in spatial econometrics (more on alumni and past editions). Hosting institution: the University of Rome "La Sapienza" (Dipartimento di Studi Geoeconomici, Linguistici, Statistici e Storici per l'Analisi Regionale) provides access to study rooms, computer labs and a relaxed environment very near to the center of the city of Rome (more on location and facilities).
